Jan Strijbos, 'Landschap met huis', 1960-1980. Olieverf op hardboard in eikenhouten lijst met hoekdecoratie. Schilderij van een huis in twee bouwlagen, met op de voorgrond bloemperken en hoge bomen. Signatuur rechtsonder. Jan (Johannes) Strijbos (Eindhoven 1896 - Merkelbeek 1977) was timmerman van beroep en na zijn pensioen een autodidact-kunstschilder in de naïeve stijl. Hij maakte zijn houten lijsten zelf. Conditie: beschadiging aan de hoekdeocartie, verder goed. Afmetingen: beeldvlak 38,8 x 49 cm, met lijst 60 x 70 x 2,1 cm.
