Jan Strijbos, 'Girl with red hair', 1960-1980. Oil on hardboard in oak frame with corner decoration. Bust portrait of girl with red hair in nature. Title at bottom left. Jan (Johannes) Strijbos (Eindhoven 1896 - Merkelbeek 1977) was a carpenter. After he retired, he became a self-made painter in the naïve style and crafted the frames for his works himself. Condition: good. Dimensions: image plane 45.8 x 41 cm, with frame 55 x 50.1 x 1.8 cm.
