Jan Strijbos, 'Tree in bloom', 1960-1980. Oil on hardboard in wooden frame. Painting of trees beside a path. Title at bottom left. Signature at bottom right. Jan (Johannes) Strijbos (Eindhoven 1896 - Merkelbeek 1977) was a carpenter. After he retired, he became a self-made painter in the naïve style and crafted the frames for his works himself. Condition: good. Dimensions: image plane 38.8 x 37.5 cm, with frame 51.5 x 49 x 2.2 cm.
