Jan Schouten (Rotterdam 1906 - Gouda 1987). After studying at the Academie voor Beeldende Kunst in Tilburg, he settled in Gouda in 1949 as a painter. He was the director of the Stedelijke Musea Gouda from 1956 until he retired. Condition: good. Dimensions: image plane 30.2 x 40.2 cm, with frame 31.2 x 41.9 x 2.7 cm.
