H. Jan Schouten, ‘Flowers in white vase’, 1982. Oil on canvas. Painting of a bouquet of flowers in a white vase on a blue background. Signature at bottom right. Jan Schouten (Rotterdam 1906 - Gouda 1987). After studying at the Academie voor Beeldende Kunst in Tilburg, he settled in Gouda in 1949 as a painter. He was the director of the Stedelijke Musea Gouda from 1956 until he retired. Condition: good. Dimensions: image plane 80 x 65 cm, with frame 82 x 68 x 3 cm.
