Jan Strijbos, 'Man and woman in landscape with trees', 1970-1980. Oil on hardboard in wooden frame. Full-length portrait of two people in a forest. Signature at bottom right. Jan (Johannes) Strijbos (Eindhoven 1896 - Merkelbeek 1977) was a carpenter. After he retired, he became a self-made painter in the naïve style and crafted the frames for his works himself. Condition: good. Dimensions: canvas 41 x 41.9 cm, with frame 54.3 x 47 x 2.5 cm.
