Jan Strijbos, 'Seated woman in swimsuit and reclining nude in grass with horse', 1960-1980. Oil on hardboard in wooden frame. Full-length portrait of two women and a horse in a field. Signature at bottom right. Jan (Johannes) Strijbos (Eindhoven 1896 - Merkelbeek 1977) was a carpenter. After he retired, he became a self-made painter in the naïve style and crafted the frames for his works himself. Condition: good. Dimensions: image plane 40 x 50 cm, with frame 52 x 52 cm.
