Jan Strijbos, 'Who wants to get married!', 1968-1977. Painting in oak frame with corner decoration. Painting of a farmhouse and three people. A Title at bottom centre. Signature at bottom right. Jan (Johannes) Strijbos (Eindhoven 1896 - Merkelbeek 1977) was a carpenter. After he retired, he became a self-made painter in the naïve style and crafted the frames for his works himself. Condition: good. Dimensions: image plane 47 x 62 cm, with frame 68 x 75 x 2 cm.
