Jan Strijbos, 'Two nuns and a couple in love', 1960-1980. Oil on hardboard in wooden frame. Full-length portrait of four people in a park. Signature is missing. Jan (Johannes) Strijbos (Eindhoven 1896 - Merkelbeek 1977) was a carpenter. After he retired, he became a self-made painter in the naïve style and crafted the frames for his works himself. Condition: good. Dimensions: image plane 50 x 40 cm, with frame 50.4 x 40.9 x 1.8 cm.
