After studying at the Academie voor Beeldende Kunst in Tilburg, he settled in Gouda in 1949 as a painter. He was the director of the Stedelijke Musea Gouda from 1956 until he retired. Condition: good. Dimensions: image plane 99 x 120 cm, with frame 101.7 x 122.5 x 2.6 cm.
