Jan Strijbos, 'Two portrait heads with hats', 1960-1980. Oil on hardboard in wooden frame. Bust portrait of two people in blue and green. Signature at bottom right. Jan (Johannes) Strijbos (Eindhoven 1896 - Merkelbeek 1977) was a carpenter. After he retired, he became a self-made painter in the naïve style and crafted the frames for his works himself. Condition: good; frame shows signs of wear. Dimensions: image area 30 x 38 cm, with frame 44 x 52.8 x 2 cm.
