Jan Strijbos, 'Landscape with farmhouse in bird's eye view, in foreground horseman and farmer's wife', 1960-1980. Oil on hardboard in oak frame with corner decoration. Painting of a farmhouse with two people. Signature at bottom left. Jan (Johannes) Strijbos (Eindhoven 1896 - Merkelbeek 1977) was a carpenter. After he retired, he became a self-made painter in the naïve style and crafted the frames for his works himself. Condition: good. Dimensions: image plane 52 x 41 cm, with frame 70 x 63 x 2.5 cm.
