Sam Middleton, 'Polder', 1980. Litho in zwarte lijst met passe-partout met zwarte rand, oplage 5/35. Polderlandschap met zeilboten in het water en een gele zon in de lucht. Signatuur rechtsonder. Amerikaanse kunstenaar Sam Middleton (1927-2015) groeide op in New York en heeft over de hele wereld gewoond tot hij in 1961 naar Nederland kwam. Muziek, vooral jazz, en het Hollandse landschap vormden de grootste inspiratiebronnen voor het abstracte en expressionistische werk van Middleton. Conditie: goed met minimale gebruikssporen aan de lijst. Afmetingen: passe-partout 37 x 51 cm, lijst 57 x 70 cm.
