Prent 'Rye Swing Bridge, South-Eastern Railway', Drawn and engraved for the British Gazetteer, J.F. Burrell, A. Ashley, H.G. Collins. Ingekleurde ets en gravure door A. Ashley voor de British Gazetteer naar een originele tekening van J. F. Burrell. Bij de aanleg van de South Eastern Railway (SER) van Hastings naar Ashford, werd een draaibrug bij Rye gebouwd, zodat de bevaarbaarheid van de rivier de Rother werd behouden. Datering: circa 1851. Conditie: De prent heeft sporen van ouderdom, zoals verkleuring. Kleine beschadigingen aan de randen. Afmetingen papier: ca. 16,5 x 25 cm.
