Stadsmuseum Vollenhove

Stadsmuseum Vollenhove
The Stadsmuseum CHC Vollenhove tells the history of City and Ambt Vollenhove through a diverse collection of historical items. Among other things the collection includes archaeological finds from the drowned village of Beulake and a complete 19th-century grocer shop. The museum focuses on three periods: the time when the bishops of Utrecht were rulers, the time of the nobility that made Vollenhove a 'city of palaces' and the heyday of fishing on the Zuiderzee.
