The Haarlemmermeermuseum De Cruquius tells the history of the 160-year-old polder of the Haarlemmermeer. Both the development of the Haarlemmermeer from the reclamation and the battle against water take centre stage. The museum shows historical objects, tools, photos and films that illustrate the development of the polder: from marshy soil to a rich agricultural area.
