On March 29, a new pop-up museum will open in Leiden: the Museum of Orphaned Objects (MOO). A diverse collection will be presented, ranging from paintings and prints to ship models, lamps, and sculptures. What makes this museum unique is that all objects from the exhibition are available for purchase!

Ever changing exhibition

If you, as a visitor, are interested in a piece from the collection, you can take it home immediately after payment. The staff at MOO will then hang or display something new in its place in the exhibition. This ensures that the collection will constantly change and never be the same! If you already have your eye on an object, please let us know, and we'll ensure it comes along to the exhibition. However, please note that we cannot reserve the piece for you.

Acquisition

Just like in our online shop, all objects from MOO are available for purchase. If you're interested in an item, you can pay for it on the spot and take it with you. Please note that we only accept payment by debit card. Alternatively, you can also pay online through the webshop or via our app using iDeal.

We prefer that purchased items are taken home immediately. However, if it's not possible to take something with you right away, you can arrange another pick-up time with our staff. Please ensure that all purchased items are collected before the end of the exhibition.
