Vereniging Hendrick de Keyser

The Hendrick de Keyser Association is committed to the preservation of architecturally or historically significant buildings and their interiors. The Association does this by acquiring buildings and subsequently restoring and renting them out. Once acquired, the buildings are never relinquished. Buildings that are acquired by 'Hendrick de Keyser' therefore have to meet strict requirements. They must be striking examples of the architecture or housing culture of a specific period.
The history of the building should not only be visible from the outside, but also from the inside. Therefore, a lot of attention is paid to the building's historical structures and the quality of the interior. They are preserved by using them. Many of the properties are rented out as residential or business accommodation. Some houses can be rented as holiday homes, or you can marry, hold a meeting or organise a gathering there. There are also many museum houses that are open to the general public.
